Autumn 2009

I haven't posted in awhile. My minds been hither, thither and yon. Books have been on the menu. I've been to Egypt with Howard Carter, the Artic with Tom Avery (a very modern day explorer) and now I'm in 1867 Africa with Stanley & Livingston. I've also read two different journals (diaries) written by women who own farms. One in Georgia and one in Connecticut. Very interesting writing. That's not including all the novels that I devoured in-between (dessert for the brain).

I signed up for facebook and the jury is still out on whether or not I'll continue in "that" vein. Facebook seems to have some technical issues.

For my birthday Andre gave me a modest gift card for itunes. So I found new great music which always make me happy. Susan Boyle's "Wild Horses" is worth listening to. Upcoming artist, Cory Chisel and the Wandering Sons, are making a name for themselves.

Labor Day Weekend at Connie's. It rained but we still had fun.
