The Vegetable Patch

This just in...the beautiful produce from my garden is beginning to mature and here's the first basketfull.

I had to show the trumpet plant in bloom. Someday, I'll get that in the ground too!

Here's the vegetable garden in May 2009.

Here's the vegetable garden in June 2009

What a difference a month and a lot of rain makes!

Baby squash.

Even tinier baby cucumber.

Jalapeno's, easiest thing in the world to grow.

Bean's in bloom.

I had to include a picture of my fig tree. Someday, I will get it planted in the ground.
I didn't include pictures of the tomato's, radishes, bell pepper and carrots. All this growing in that tiny plot of land. Amazing!

Your garden is so beautiful! This summer has been really good to it as well as the sweat of your brow! How rewarding it is! I'm looking forward to getting a taste of it all! You really have a special touch on the earth.
I also love your new layout. The videos are so awesome! I can't wait to make a blogspot of my own.

Debbie! What a beautiful garden you've managed to harvest! I'm sure you're very proud, and I'm very proud of you. It's evident that you've worked back-breakingly hard and you've made quite an accomplishment keeping that plot of land thriving in the heat of Macon. Go Debbie!

I miss you, Debbie, just wanted you to know that. Also wanted to show you that Dad's isn't the only blog I visit and you DO have another fan ;) Keep it up Debbie! Love you!!!

Love Always,
LeeLee
